How Slashmark Flow crosses · 9 second loop
Every computer, one desk
Your Mac, your PC and your Linux box behave like screens of one computer. Nothing to plug in, nothing to sign up for.
Cross the
way you like
Push off the edge that faces the other machine, through a corner, or up through the MacBook's notch. Or double-tap a key and switch without moving the pointer.
- Lands at the same height on the right display, however your monitors are stacked
- Choose how hard you push before it crosses
- The edge lights up as you push

Your clipboard and shortcuts come too
Copy on one machine, paste on the other. Shortcuts are translated between Mac and Windows, so Cmd+C still copies.
- Text and images, both ways, the moment you switch
- Media keys and volume follow you
- Mac trackpad gestures work on Windows
Tuned to
each machine
Each computer decides how the other's pointer feels on it, and keeps its own keys where they belong.
- Pointer and scroll speed from 25% to 400%
- Keys and mouse buttons that stay on this machine
- Wakes a sleeping PC when you switch to it
Get Slashmark Flow for every desk
Install it on each computer you want to share one keyboard and mouse between, on the same network. Then pair them with a six-digit code.
macOS Universal
macOS 13 or later, Apple silicon and Intel. First time: right-click the app and choose Open.
Open the disk image and drag Slashmark Flow to Applications. On first launch, grant Accessibility and Input Monitoring when macOS asks.
Windows 64-bit
Windows 10 and 11. Asks once for administrator permission, for firewall rules.
Run the installer. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Linux Coming soon
A Flatpak for Fedora, Ubuntu and other distributions is on the way. Until then, Linux users can run it from the source code.
Under Wayland, allow both desktop prompts when they appear. Older Ubuntu and Debian releases need an X11 session.
Good questions, straight answers
Is it really free?
Yes. No paid tier, no trial, no subscription and no account, for personal and commercial use.
Do the computers need to be on the same network?
Yes. Paired machines talk to each other directly over your local network, wired or Wi-Fi. Nothing goes through the internet.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No. Keystrokes, pointer movements and the clipboard travel only between your paired machines, encrypted with keys created when you paired them. The only request that leaves your network is a once-a-day update check, which you can turn off.
How do I pair two computers?
Choose Pair a machine on one computer to show a six-digit code, then pick that computer on the other and enter the code. The code lasts a minute and works once.
Can I use more than two computers?
Yes. Pair each machine with the others in the group, and set which edge leads to which.
Why does the Mac ask for Accessibility and Input Monitoring?
macOS only lets an app read and send keyboard and mouse input with these two permissions. Grant both on the Permissions page, then press Relaunch so the keyboard comes through as well as the pointer.
Does it work on Linux?
Yes, from the source code today, with a packaged Flatpak coming soon. Under Wayland, allow both desktop prompts when they appear: one lets Slashmark Flow send input, the other lets it receive. Older Ubuntu and Debian releases need an X11 session.
How do I uninstall it?
On a Mac, quit it and move it to the Bin. On Windows, use Settings → Apps. On Linux, delete the folder you ran it from.
